Footprints at Gulls Rock

Headed off to the beach at Port Willunga tracing the creek that runs not far from my home. The air was mild, the sky blue and friendly after the recent wet mood. I walked north along the beach noticing the collapsed cliffs and the ensuing clay run-off into the sand.
At Gulls the beach was empty but the sand was still busy with the prints of other visitors now elsewhere.
I left the flat sea and began my return walk along the cliffs.

  1. As I said by phone, I like your style of writing, which is a nice combination of astute and sensitive observation with a fine sense of description, neither too much or too little. You make me want to take the walk. Barry
